Getting started with DeliverYou

Everything you need to know to set up your account and run your first delivery route.

Overview

What is DeliverYou?

DeliverYou is a delivery management platform for businesses that run scheduled delivery routes. It lets you manage customers, orders, drivers, and delivery zones — and gives customers a simple booking page to place their own orders.

Fundamentals

Key Concepts

Merchants

Businesses on the platform. Everything — orders, customers, drivers, zones — belongs to a merchant.

Zones

Delivery areas, each with assigned delivery days. e.g. "City Bowl" delivers on Mondays.

Suburbs

Sit inside zones. When a customer picks their suburb, the system automatically assigns the correct zone and delivery date.

Products

Items your business sells. Each has a name, price, and unit label (e.g. "cylinder", "kg").

Drivers

Assigned to orders and route sheets on delivery day.

Orders

Move through a lifecycle: Pending → Scheduled → Out for Delivery → Delivered.

Taking Orders

Customer Booking Page

Share your booking page link with customers. They fill in their name, address, suburb, products, and payment method. The system automatically calculates their delivery date based on their suburb's zone.

Manual Orders

For phone or walk-in orders, go to Orders → New Order and fill in the customer and order details yourself. Great for repeat customers who call in.

Managing Orders

The Orders page shows all your orders in a table. Click any order to open its detail page where you can update status, add notes, assign a driver, and record payment.

  • Filter by status, zone, payment status, or date
  • Search by customer name or address
  • Bulk update status, driver assignment, or payment status across multiple orders at once
  • Flag overdue orders that haven't been delivered on their scheduled date
